Caption on this photo reads - "Gulp! She Stuck Her Neck Out Just Too Far" and goes on to detail - Time for a bite to eat just before the big show? Not quite. This majestic Afghan hound only appears to be gulping the head of its owner, Gale Ellison of Miami. They were part of the 40th Annual All Breed American Kennel Club Show at the Clearwater Municipal Auditoriuim Saturday. More than 90 breeds and varieties of dogs appeared from across the United States. June 11 1973".
The "Gale Ellison" mentioned above is possibly V G Ellison ? If so the Afghan Hound may well be her red dog Kalif Khyber Ky born 1/31/1971? The pedigree for Kalif Khyber Ky is as follows;
