Born in Afghanistan, he aquired an American master by a strange chance. The long journey to America was hard on Tim, but once in the Mountains of Colorado, he regained his health and spirits. A great test was still ahead of him, and when it came, the characteristic courage and speed of the Afghan hound enabled Tim to save his master's life
