So lets record the other litters registered by the two parties who were so partial to the same kennel name to leave us wondering what on earth happened in the tug-o-war. Friends turned enemies? Fierce competitors? Would the AHCA know since Muriel was its Secretary/Treasurer from 1938 through 1946 when she moved up and became AHCA President for the next three years? Her husband became the club's delegate to the AKC and both eventually become judges, doing the honors at specialities. So surely..... some of our oldtimers might know?
Anyhow, here are Anne de Witt's next litter out of another Prides Hill pairing, CHAD OF PRIDES HILL ex ANITA OF PRIDES HILL, with the breeders recorded as "Doreborn Kennels". Benjmin Decker (Jac-A-Leen Kennel) ) listed as owner of the litter..

**Ed Note 12/12/2011 - I put a break between the list of dogs above. If you look carefully you will see that above the line the AKC reg # are in the 200,000 series and below the line they are in the 400,000 series. I believe that Lilian Goodman may have unintentionally listed all of the above as a single litter born June 17, 1938, but because of the different registration series numbers I thought this unlikely. I checked the AKC Stud Book and find in the issue dated June 1941 page 84 that in fact the lower list is a different litter with different parents (correct parents are Doreborn's Dadir ex Simba Too), litter bred by Anne de Witt whelped on 1/26/1941
Ed Note - It is also interesting to note, that with the litter bred 1/26/1941 (pedigree below). that Anne de Witt made a radical breeding choice by the mating with Simba Too, which was a daughter of Lawrence Peters direct imports from Afghanistan - (Tazi of Beg Tute and Saki Of Paghman). So this decision moved DOREBORN into new territory and away from the traditional Prides Hill breedings

Meantime, at the "OF DOREBORN'S" (The Bogers) Kennels we find the following "productions";
On July 23, 1939, using Shaw Mckean's imported LAKSHMAN OF ENRIALLIC with ASRA OF GHAZNI, a litter bred by the Bogers
We now also note "OF DOREBORN" (Mr Mrs Boger) also turning to Import lines via the breeding with Lakshman Of Enriallic, who's Enrriallic (Bell Murray) lines would dilute the existing Ghazni lines.

An interesting footnote; Asra of Ghazni had left Prides Hill to live out her last years with Muriel Boger, where she produced this last litter. She passed away at 14 years of age.
