In Victoria three important Afghans arrived with the Abbotts who also migrated here from England. These were the black and tan male Zarussef Zso Zso and the two bitches Khorrassan Horningsea Tarbouka and Radiant of Carloway. This latter bitch mated to Zso Zso produced a number of champions including Khyber Amanulla who became the principal sire in the establishment of Helen Furber's Furbari Kennels in Sydney where the foundation bitch was Westghan Knamba.(source Jim Hickie), In the mid 1950's Mr and Mrs James Abbott arrived in Melbourne from England with their black and cream dog, Zarusseff Zso Zso, descended from Blethingley breeding. He was sired by Ch Yusseff of Carloway ex Ch Bletchingley Zara. The Abbotts also brought two gold itches with them, Radiant of Carloway and Khorrassan Horningsea Tarbouka, Both became champions in their new country at the Abbott's Khyber kennels. While only two litters were bred by the Abbotts, they made a considerable mark in the breed in Victoria with Ch Khyber Khoran when he won eleven Bests in Shows, their Ch Khyber Anakh also won Best Opposite Sex honours in the Hound Group at the Melbourne Royal show in 1960.
